The fields are green with spinach, lettuce, peas and waving garlic. It’s time to eat from the garden!
Starting June 2, 2021 everyone is welcome to join us on Wednesdays from 10-12PM at the parking lot on N. Main in Burnsville (next to the newspaper office) for Harvest Tables, a community food sharing event that is part of the Harvest Share initiative. We’ll share pre-packed boxes of vegetables grown in our communities by Dig In, local farmers and gardeners at no cost to participants. We’ve joined with TRACTOR and Rec House to purchase local produce and share it so that we all have fresh food to eat (that’s the Harvest Share part). We know how much work it is to grow vegetables so ask that whenever possible, support a farmer by buying local produce.
