Local Futures Potluck

On the summer solstice, we invite our friends and neighbors to join us at the Dig In Farm for a local foods potluck celebrating our Yancey County farmers and gardeners.
Please bring a potluck dish and your own table service.
This meal, on the summer solstice, is a part of the World Localization Day celebrations. This annual event, convened by the international NGO Local Futures, consists of a variety of in-person and online events to highlight localization as a strategy for change. And not least, to celebrate the many efforts and initiatives that foster ecological economies, thriving communities and healthy local food systems.
