Tell us your story! Do you grow food in Mitchell or Yancey County, or know someone who does? Do you have stories or tips to share? Fond memories from a garden grown in the mountains? Dig In! and Mitchell County Cooperative Extension want to hear from you. Now more than ever, we need stories of planting, harvesting, cooking, and preserving; favorite varieties and recipes; examples of plenty, generosity, and sharing between neighbors.

The stories you share will make up a picture of our two counties, showing how we can help provide for ourselves and each other. Pictures, text, and voice recordings are all welcome. They will be shared online as a record of resilience in these uncertain times.
